Masks
One of the simplest and most effective way of protecting yourself from the virus is by wearing a mask. Covid-19 spreads through airborne droplets, otherwise known as ‘aerosols’ which are microscopic particles which float through the air and spread the virus – which is why many countries have now banned people from mixing indoors. Wearing a mask across your mouth and nose however, traps these particles in their fibres which both prevents you from spreading the disease, if you have it and are asymptomatic, or from catching it. We currently stock two different types of face masks, both are equally good but are manufactured differently. Hand Sanitizers
Early on in the pandemic it was established that the single most important thing you can do to stay safe from the virus is to wash your hands regularly and thoroughly for at least 20 seconds. If you don’t have access to running water however when you’re out the next best thing is to wash your hands using hand sanitizer. Doctors and scientists have recommended using hand sanitizers regularly which contain at least 80% alcohol to kill germs. We stock highly effective hand sanitizer. We stock a range of hand sanitizers to suit your lifestyle and preference. They vary in alcohol strength, size, scent and application style. Lucky hand sanitizers have a range of scents available from Lavender and Aloe Vera which can turn the chore of cleaning your hands into a scent filled treat. We stock both gel and antibacterial sprays so you can choose whichever texture and method of application you prefer when keeping yourself safe from coronavirus.
Gloves
Another key way of staying safe from germs and bacteria is to wear gloves when in situations which require you to touch frequently touched surfaces such as when shopping or travelling on public transport. Rubbing alcohol
Another powerful weapon in the fight against coronavirus is rubbing alcohol. A great product to have in your home it’s highly versatile and can be used to disinfect surfaces as well as hands. We stock rubbing alcohol of at least (70%) which ensures that it is powerful enough to use for sanitation purposes. You can also use rubbing alcohol to make your own hand sanitizer and customise the consistency and the scent.
